C is for Crocus

As much as we would like to show some other aspect of nature on C day, the spring blossoms of the little crocus bulbs just catch a squirrel’s eye after the long drab winter.

Hope you’re having a bring sunny day wherever you are!

  1. We have purple ones starting to come up and they’re such a nice change after a long, dreary winter! Of course it’s supposed to snow this weekend so they’ll probably die sigh…. gotta love spring in the Midwest 🙂 Good luck with the challenge this month!

  2. They are beautiful! I’m terrible at gardening so I’ve started with tulips. If that works I’ll look for crocuses next year.

    • We like tulips. They taste delicious! The humans in our neighborhood plant them with mixed with daffodils, which we squirrel hate…so we end up leaving the tulips alone. *nose wrinkle* Best wishes on your bulbs, Catherine! We hope your squirrels miss them. 🙂

Drop us a nut to find!
