The leaves don’t come off different species of trees–or shrubs–at the same time, so we still have some views full of color.
A bit closer to home, I ran by an Oakleaf Hydrangea in a garden.
Back on June 5 we showed this native shrub in flower, but its even more impressive showing off its fall foliage.

Wonderful photos. I really love the fall foliage and hate to see it leave!
It seems to be sticking around longer this year, and we’re still enjoying warm weather for acorn burying!
