Things are getting back to normal here after that weather sidelines us squirrels and especially yours truly–that’s Ol’ Wally–for a few days. I didn’t really want to venture forth into the still damp lawns, but gotta make the most of these mild days. Thought today I’d feature another water-lovin’ plant, the Weeping Willow.
This one is growin’ along a little gully that carries storm water across the gold course. The species does come from China, but get planted a fair amount. I have to agree it’s a pretty tree, but not much use to us squirrels since the branches hang.
No ariel pathway to other trees on this one.
